We are very excited to have secured this filly today at the Ocala Breeders Sale in Ocala.  We are on a perennial hunt to find a Central Banker filly that meets our strict physical buying criteria and it is so hard to find the perfect one but we did today.  Most Central Banker fillies lack size, scope and leg but this filly has plenty of leg, plenty of size and scope and really has an element of class you do not often find from Central Banke progeny.  This filly has a great shoulder and a perfect shoulder angle with a deep girth, strong top line and very fast looking hip.  She is gorgeous and very well balanced with a nice long neck.  She uses herself very well.  The Rice Family who helps select all of our racing prospects called us today and said we needed to buy this filly and we are all very pleased to have her in our stable.

Central Banker has proven to be a force among the New York Sire ranks producing several high caliber NY Bred stake horses.  On the filly side, Central Banker has produced millionaire Morning Matcha, Bank Sting (earner of $644k), Sunday Girl (earner of $539k), Newly Minted ($516k), Hot Currency ($397k) and Bank on Anna ($343k).  Most importantly, being by Central Banker makes this filly NY Sired which opens up a whole host of additional incentives and stake options.

This filly’s dam, Sky Gal, was a 3YO MSW winner and has already produced a 2YO stake filly.  The full sister to our filly, Sweet Sugar Pie, won first time out by over 4 lengths in a MSW in August and came back to finish a very strong second in the $100k Lady Finger Stakes a couple weeks ago.  Sky Gal is out of the Graded Stake winner, Northern Passion, who earned $636k and was a four-time stake winner and was 8 times stakes placed including two graded stakes placed finishes.  Northern Passion also won the Grade 3 Natalma Stakes, which is now a Grade 1.

The filly is already settling into farm life at Rice Horse in Ocala, and will ship to Jorge Abreu in the Spring.
